History repeated itself on Roadies 8 after five years, as a girl emerged as the winner of MTV Roadies 8. After Parul who won in 2005, Anchal became the second ever female Roadies winner as she got nine out of ten votes in teh finale.

The finale started with three Roadies - Mohit, Suchit and Anchal, fighting it out for the winner's position. Suchit, who was voted as the viewer's choice Roadies winner on MTV Roadies' official Facebook page, could not make it to the final two, which disappointed many Facebook fans, and the elimination even resulted in Suchit trending on Twitter.
