It is a matter of grate pleasure to greet the teaching faculty, non- teaching staff, the students and all the other stakeholders of the Higher education on the commencement of the new academic year 2010-11. This is a golden jubilee year of the Gujarat State and thus a very significant year. The entire State is celebrating the 50 years of its establishment and trying to bring about a qualitative change is each and every aspect of the life in the Gujarat State. Everyone is working in the direction of the development of the State. The State wants to do something significant and meaningful in the domain of education also and thereby it has great expectations from us. Our university must contribute handsomely and fulfill the expectations of the society at large and the Department of Education of the Gujarat State in particular.
